Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with 15+ years of experience in ladies footwear manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete production process, ensuring timely production, maintaining quality standards, controlling wastage, and effectively managing the production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day production of ladies footwear.

• Plan production schedules based on orders, capacity, and delivery timelines.

• Handle the complete production process from cutting and stitching to lasting, finishing, and packing.

• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining required quality standards.

• Monitor production efficiency, manpower utilization, material consumption, and wastage.

• Identify and resolve production-related issues and bottlenecks.

• Coordinate with design, purchase, stores, quality, and sales teams for smooth production.

• Manage and train production workers, supervisors, and other shop-floor staff.

• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.

• Implement measures to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and control production costs.

• Conduct regular quality checks and ensure products meet company standards.

• Maintain production reports, records, and daily MIS.

• Ensure adherence to workplace safety and production procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience in footwear manufacturing, preferably ladies footwear.

• Strong knowledge of footwear production processes and manufacturing techniques.

• Experience in handling production teams and shop-floor operations.

• Good understanding of quality control, production planning, manpower management, and wastage control.

• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage production targets and delivery timelines.

• Candidates from established footwear manufacturing companies will be preferred.
