Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Taxation Executive to support the taxation and compliance activities of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for GST, TDS, income tax-related activities, reconciliations, documentation, and timely statutory filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Handle TDS calculations, returns, payments, and reconciliation.
• Assist in GST and TDS reconciliation with books of accounts.
• Support in preparation of income tax computations and returns.
• Maintain proper records and documentation related to taxation.
• Assist in handling GST notices, assessments, and departmental queries.
• Verify purchase and sales invoices from a taxation perspective.
• Ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with the Accounts and Finance team for tax-related matters.
• Assist in audits and provide required tax-related documents and information.
• Keep track of changes in GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
• Perform other taxation and accounting activities as assigned.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/Tally.
• Good understanding of taxation compliance and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet statutory deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Taxation / Accounts & Taxation.
• Candidates with experience in GST, TDS, reconciliations, and statutory compliance will be preferred.
• Experience in a CA firm or corporate taxation department will be an advantage.
