JOB DESCRIPTION

To manage the end-to-end billing process of the company accurately and on time - preparing invoices, maintaining billing records, coordinating with internal departments and customers, and ensuring compliance with statutory
(GST) requirements.
Key Responsibilities

● Prepare, verify and process sales invoices / bills accurately and in a timely manner, in line with company policy and applicable tax regulations (GST).
● Maintain and update billing records, ledgers and customer accounts on a daily basis.
● Coordinate with the Sales, Dispatch and Stores departments to ensure billing is raised against confirmed orders/dispatches without delay.
● Reconcile invoices with purchase orders, delivery challans and e-way bills; resolve discrepancies promptly.
● Follow up with customers/clients for outstanding payments and maintain an updated accounts receivable / ageing report.
● Prepare debit notes, credit notes and rate-difference adjustments as required.
● Ensure timely filing and documentation of GST-related billing data (GSTR-1 support, e-invoicing, e-way bill generation).
● Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing of billing accounts and support internal/external audits.
● Maintain proper filing (physical and digital) of all bills, invoices and supporting documents for easy retrieval.
● Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance team for bank reconciliation and payment follow-ups related to billing.
● Prepare MIS reports related to billing, outstanding dues and collections as required by management.
● Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and statutory requirements at all times.

Required Skills & Competencies
● Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or related field; additional certification in Tally/GST/Accounting is an advantage.
● 2-5 years of relevant experience in billing, invoicing or accounts, preferably in a manufacturing/panel industry.
● Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
● Good understanding of GST, e-invoicing and e-way bill procedures.
● Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
● Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with internal departments and customers.
● Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data.

Qualification & Experience
● Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
● Experience: 2 to 5 years in a similar billing/accounts role.
● Software Skills: Tally ERP/Prime, MS Excel, MS Office.
