Job Description:
A graphic and web designer creates visual layouts for digital and print media, builds user-friendly website interfaces, and maintains brand consistency across all platforms. They blend artistic graphic design skills with technical web layout strategies to optimize user experience and engagement. [1, 2, 3]
Role and Responsibilities
 
  • Web Design: Build wireframes, mockups, and responsive layouts for landing pages, web apps, and e-commerce stores.
  • Graphic Design: Create digital assets including social media graphics, banner ads, infographics, and marketing collateral.
  • Brand Management: Uphold brand guidelines, color theories, typography choices, and visual hierarchies across all projects.
  • Collaboration: Partner with copywriters, product managers, and developers for clean design handoffs and functional implementation.
  • Optimization & Testing: Test site layouts across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes for optimal speed and usability. [1, 2, 3, 5]

    Required Skills and Qualifications
     
  • Software Proficiency: Mastery of design tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for smooth developer collaboration.
  • Design Principles: Strong grasp of grid systems, responsive design, color theory, and user experience (UX) fundamentals.
  • Portfolio: A verifiable body of work showing digital layouts, branding projects, and web interface design.
