Job Overview

We are looking for energetic and target-oriented Field Sales Executives to drive Diesel Generator sales and business development across assigned territories.

The role involves regular field visits, lead generation, customer meetings, site visits, relationship building and systematic follow-up to convert enquiries into sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers for Diesel Generator / DG Set sales in the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular field visits to factories, industries, hospitals, hotels, builders, contractors, commercial establishments and project sites.
• Generate and qualify new leads through market visits, networking, referrals and local business development.
• Meet electrical contractors, consultants, builders, EPC contractors, project managers and institutional customers.
• Conduct customer meetings and site visits to understand power requirements, applications and project details.
• Coordinate with the technical and sales-support team for load assessment, product selection and proposal preparation.
• Follow up on quotations, enquiries and proposals to convert opportunities into orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, follow-ups and opportunities in CRM / lead trackers.
• Submit regular activity reports and sales pipeline updates.
• Monitor competitor activity, local market trends, pricing and upcoming projects.
• Support post-order customer coordination and commercial follow-up when required.
• Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate / Diploma holder; Engineering qualification will be an advantage.
• 1–5 years of experience in field sales, industrial sales, equipment sales, project sales or B2B sales preferred.
• Candidates with experience in Diesel Generators, Electrical Equipment, Industrial Machinery or Power Solutions will be preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable with extensive field travel and regular customer visits.
• Self-motivated and capable of independently developing the assigned territory.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email, WhatsApp and CRM / lead-tracking systems.
• Must have a two-wheeler and valid driving licence for local field travel.
