Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Market Technician (CMT) with 3+ years of experience in technical analysis of financial markets. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying trading and investment opportunities, preparing research reports, and supporting investment decisions through advanced technical analysis techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical analysis of equities, indices, commodities, currencies, and other financial instruments.
- Analyze price movements, chart patterns, market trends, and trading volumes.
- Develop short-term and long-term market outlooks using technical indicators and quantitative tools.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly technical research reports.
- Identify trading opportunities and generate actionable investment ideas.
- Monitor market developments, economic events, and their impact on market movements.
- Utilize technical indicators such as RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Moving Averages, Fibonacci Retracement, Elliott Wave Theory, etc.
- Support portfolio managers, traders, and investment teams with technical insights.
- Conduct back-testing and performance analysis of trading strategies.
- Present market views and recommendations to management and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Market Technician (CMT) certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical analysis, equity research, trading, or investment advisory.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and trading concepts.
