Job Description:

Designation: Manager / Sr. Manager
Location: Panchla, West Bengal
Employment Type: Permanent
Reporting To: VP – Operations
Industry Preference: Plastic Injection Molding / Plastic Labware Manufacturing
Experience: 8–10 years of progressive manufacturing experience with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Age Group: 35–45 Years
CTC Budget: ₹18–20 LPA

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations of plastic labware products such as pipette tips, centrifuge tubes, beakers, petri dishes, etc.
  • Plan, organize, and manage daily plant operations to achieve production targets and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources.
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure timely deliveries and material readiness.
  • Work closely with the Quality team to ensure adherence to QMS standards.
  • Monitor product quality, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to reduce rejections.
  • Lead preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize breakdowns and improve machine uptime.
  • Analyze equipment performance and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of all plant operations and manage plant administration activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Hands-on experience in plastic manufacturing processes, preferably plastic labware production.
  • Good knowledge of plastic processing techniques, tooling, molds, maintenance, and cleanroom manufacturing (if applicable).
  • Experience in QMS, preventive maintenance systems, and project management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
