Research Analyst
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Research Analyst with 3+ years of experience in financial modelling, equity research, and stock market analysis. The candidate should possess strong expertise in analyzing listed companies across US and Indian stock markets, building financial models, conducting valuation analysis, and preparing investment research reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental analysis of companies listed in US and Indian stock markets.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including:
- Three-statement financial models
- DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) valuation models
- Comparable Company Analysis (CCA)
- Precedent Transaction Analysis
- Perform industry, sector, and company-specific research.
- Analyze financial statements, annual reports, investor presentations, and earnings transcripts.
- Prepare investment notes, research reports, and stock recommendations.
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and corporate developments.
- Evaluate business performance, growth drivers, risks, and competitive positioning.
- Support portfolio managers and investment teams with actionable insights.
- Track quarterly results and update valuation models accordingly.
- Develop financial forecasts and scenario analysis.
- Present research findings and investment recommendations to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Research, Financial Analysis, or Financial Modelling.
- Strong understanding of US and Indian equity markets.
