Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Taxation Manager with 4+ years of experience in direct and indirect taxation. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of GST compliance, tax planning, return filing, audits, and statutory regulations. The role involves ensuring timely compliance with tax laws and supporting the organization in minimizing tax risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all GST-related activities, including registration, return filing, reconciliation, and compliance.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.) within prescribed timelines.
• Reconcile GST data with books of accounts, purchase registers, and vendor records.
• Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) and ensure proper utilization and compliance.
• Handle GST assessments, notices, departmental audits, and litigation matters.
• Ensure compliance with TDS, TCS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Prepare tax reports and MIS for management review.
• Track changes in tax laws and advise management on their impact.
• Support internal and statutory audits by providing required tax-related information.
• Ensure timely payment of taxes and maintenance of tax records and documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and compliance procedures.
• Understanding of Direct Taxation and Income Tax provisions.
• Experience in GST reconciliation and audit support.
• Knowledge of TDS, TCS, and statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and compliance requirements.

Qualification

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com
• Professional certification in taxation will be an added advantage.
