Position: Business Head – Agri & OTR Tyres
Location: Kolkata
Industry: Agri & OTR (Off-The-Road) Tyres
Compensation: As per industry standards and experience
About the Role
We are looking for a senior industry professional with extensive experience in the Agri & OTR
tyre segment to lead the strategic development of the business across PAN India. The role is
ideally suited for a highly experienced or retired professional from the tyre industry who brings
deep market understanding, category expertise, strong industry relationships, and strategic
business insight.
This position will play a key role in building and scaling the Agri & OTR tyre category through
market analysis, product and category planning, sourcing strategy, vendor identification, product
launches, channel development, and overall business expansion.
The candidate will act as a strategic leader and advisor to management in establishing a strong
and sustainable presence in the domestic Agri & OTR tyre market.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development
● Lead the strategic development of the Agri & OTR tyre business across PAN India.
● Study and analyze market trends, customer demand, competitor positioning, pricing, and
growth opportunities.
● Identify high-potential product categories and market segments for expansion.
● Develop long-term business and category growth strategies.
Product & Category Management
● Guide product portfolio planning for Agri & OTR tyre categories.
● Recommend suitable product specifications, positioning, and pricing based on market
demand.
● Support category building, product mix optimization, and SKU planning.
● Drive category profitability and market competitiveness.

Sourcing & Vendor Development
● Identify and evaluate manufacturing partners, suppliers, and sourcing opportunities.
● Support negotiations related to sourcing, pricing, product quality, and supply capability.
● Build and strengthen strategic relationships with vendors and manufacturing partners.
Product Launch & Market Expansion
● Lead market-entry and product-launch strategies for domestic markets.
● Recommend go-to-market approaches, distribution models, and channel strategies.
● Support dealer/distributor identification and network development.
● Guide sales teams with market intelligence and product positioning strategies.
Advisory & Leadership
● Provide strategic guidance to management on industry trends and business
opportunities.
● Mentor and support internal teams in understanding the Agri & OTR tyre market.
● Participate in key business reviews, planning discussions, and expansion initiatives.
● Leverage industry network and relationships to accelerate business growth.
