MIg welder

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and other metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Set up and operate welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools.
• Measure, cut, align, and assemble metal parts as per specifications.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects or weak joints.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper machine settings.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE during welding operations.
• Carry out fabrication, repair, and finishing work as required.
• Maintain production quality and meet daily production targets.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth workflow.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of MIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication layouts.
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and fabrication tools.
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills.

Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Welding or related field preferred.
• Welding certification is an added advantage.

Experience:

• 1–5 years of experience in MIG welding/fabrication work.
• Experience in manufacturing, heavy engineering, automotive, or fabrication industry preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Factory / fabrication shop environment.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy materials when required.
