Job Purpose

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Logistics Executive to manage bulk cargo operations efficiently. The candidate should have strong knowledge of bulk logistics, port operations, and chartering processes, along with hands-on experience in handling bulk shipments.

Job Responsibility

• Manage and handle bulk cargo operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with clients for bulk logistics services.
• Possess working knowledge and coordination experience with major Indian ports such as Hazira, Mundra, Kandla, and other bulk terminals.
• Handle and execute Charter Party agreements, including negotiation, documentation, and vessel coordination.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of bulk chemicals, including which ports handle specific types of chemicals and related compliance requirements.
• Manage and negotiate freight rates, vessel planning, and shipment scheduling.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, vessel operators, port authorities, and internal teams for smooth execution of shipments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and documentation requirements for bulk cargo movement.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve any operational issues or delays proactively.
• Perform other routine logistics and supply chain duties as required.

Skills, Experience and Qualification Required

• Proven experience in bulk logistics / shipping operations.
• Strong knowledge of Chartering and Charter Party terms.
• Familiarity with Indian port operations and terminals (Hazira, Mundra, etc.).
• Good understanding of bulk chemical handling and port-wise compatibility.
• Expertise in freight negotiation and cost management.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
