Production manager

Job Summary:

The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes in a machine manufacturing setup. The role ensures production targets are achieved efficiently, with high quality standards, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to safety norms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet delivery timelines
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
• Implement and maintain quality standards and ensure defect-free production
• Coordinate with design, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams
• Handle production issues, bottlenecks, and troubleshoot effectively
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, TPM)
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, efficiency, rejection rates
• Manage and train production team, including supervisors and operators
• Maintain production reports and documentation
