Job Summary
We are seeking a Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks to support product design, development, and detailing of mechanical components. The role involves 3D modelling, assemblies, and preparation of manufacturing-ready drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks
- Prepare production and fabrication drawings as per design requirements
- Coordinate with production and manufacturing teams for design clarification
- Modify and optimize designs based on technical and manufacturing feedback
- Maintain proper documentation of designs and revisions
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with engineering standards
Key Requirements
- Mandatory: SolidWorks course certification
- Strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks (3D modelling & assemblies)
- Good understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes
- Basic knowledge of materials, tolerances, and fabrication methods
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
