Position Title: DGM /GM – Export Sales (BOPP Films)
Location: India (Corporate Office - Delhi) with international travel
Salary & Experience- Negotiable; Minimum 12 years in same industry.
Reporting To: Director
Role Purpose
To lead and scale the global export business of BOPP films by driving revenue growth, margin optimization, market
expansion, and customer partnerships, while ensuring strategic positioning across key international markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Revenue Delivery
Own and deliver export sales targets (volume & value) across regions (Middle East, Africa, Europe, LATAM, etc.)
Drive market share expansion in existing geographies and develop new international markets
Build and execute annual export sales strategy and GTM plans
Ensure profitable growth, not just volume-driven sales
2. Customer & Market Development
Develop and manage relationships with key global customers, converters, distributors, and channel partners
Identify high-potential customers and strategic accounts
Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term agreements
Capture and translate market intelligence (pricing, demand trends, competition) into strategy
3. Product & Portfolio Management
Drive sales of specialty and value-added BOPP grades
Collaborate with technical and production teams to align product mix with market demand
Identify new product opportunities based on global trends
4. Pricing & Margin Management
Define region-wise pricing strategy based on:
o Raw material trends (PP resin)
o Freight and logistics cost
o Competitive landscape
Ensure margin protection and contribution optimization
Monitor discounting discipline and credit exposure
5. Supply Chain & Execution Excellence
Coordinate with planning, production, and logistics teams to ensure:
o Timely order execution
o Optimal inventory utilization
o On-time dispatch and delivery
Manage export documentation, compliance, and shipping processes
6. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and mentor export sales team and regional managers
Drive a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs
Build capabilities in negotiation, market development, and account management
7. Strategic Planning & Business Intelligence
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual export business plans
Track global demand-supply trends in BOPP industry
Benchmark against competitors (pricing, capacity, positioning)
Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership

Experience
12–18+ years in BOPP / flexible packaging / polymer industry
Strong exposure to international markets & export sales
Proven track record in handling large export portfolios
Functional Expertise
Deep understanding of:
o BOPP film grades & applications
o Global packaging industry dynamics
o Export logistics, documentation & trade regulations
Strong capability in:
o Commercial negotiation
o Pricing strategy
o Market development

Education
MBA (Sales/Marketing/International Business) preferred
Engineering background (preferred but not mandatory)
