Sales Head – India
Base Location: Kolkata
Reporting to: Managing Director
Key Job responsibilities:
- Driving Leadership Development related deliveries including account plan preparation, execution, quality of service delivery & cross-functional coordination.
- Achievement of quarterly/annual revenue budget for assigned distributors/accounts/regions.
- Augmenting sales volume by driving sales promotions, campaigns and contest launched by the Global/APAC team and ensuring the key benefits are percolated to the last mile thus ensuring business growth.
- Organizing & conducting large format motivational & information-based events/trainings/workshops for distributors to create awareness, knowledge, and momentum thus leading to incremental business.
- Develop region specific programs/promotions/initiatives for driving the sponsoring rate, activation of new joiners, title progression and leadership pipeline development.
- Build a thorough understanding of the business model and the compensation plan and effectively coaching the field leaders.
- Regular business planning and goal setting with senior and emerging leaders. Tracking and driving the performance throughout the month and ensuring the monthly/quarterly budgets are met.
- Resolving field related issues for primary & secondary sales, resulting in deeper market penetration & reach.
- Conceptualizing competitive business development strategies to develop market share for achievement of revenue & profitability targets and making the business viable by ensuring healthy ROI.
- Ensure consistent implementation of Farmespride policies, principles, and philosophy, as well as safeguarding the company image.
- Track key performance indicators per Sales team and take corrective action when necessary.
- Analyse and understand all key performance indicator reports (Active member Count, Productivity, Recruiting, Leadership pipeline count per status, Personal and Team Sales trends, etc.)
- Provide sales force and consumer feedback as necessary to the MD.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive field morale within the region by providing inspirational leadership and recognition.
Job Specs/ Profile
- Strong business sense and industry expertise preferred Network Marketing/MLM/Direct Selling exposure.
- Successful previous experience as a Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Availability to travel on weekends and Public Holidays.
- At least 10 years of experience in Sales.
- Preferably MBA.
- Knowledge of local language like Hindi, English and other few regional languages like Kolkata.
- Having no location constraints.
- Frequent travels.
