Position Overview

We are seeking a Factory Manager with strong leadership and operational experience to oversee overall factory functions. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production operations, quality control, workforce management, safety compliance, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end factory operations and workflow.

• Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.

• Coordinate with department heads (production, maintenance, quality, logistics) for seamless operations.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and work processes.

• Drive productivity improvements and cost-control initiatives.

• Maintain and enforce workplace safety and compliance with statutory regulations.

• Supervise, mentor, and appraise factory staff; build effective teams.

• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.

• Manage resources, equipment, and materials efficiently.

• Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.

• Implement and improve systems, processes, and SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Production) or related field.

• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or factory management (Preference: railway/engineering/iron components industry).

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.

• Solid understanding of production planning and quality control practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of safety standards and factory compliance.
