Sales Head
Job Description:
• Responsible for implementing and executing the sales strategy and action plan
to drive growth of Ritmo Pipe Welding Machines and Tools specifically targeting
the Water / Gas Pipeline Infrastructure Contractors, HDPE, PP Pipes/Fittings
manufacturers, Industrial customers setting up new facilities, Plastic
Fabricators, Infrastructure Companies and other and business plan for Durel
International LLP
• Verify market position and opportunities, develop business plans and set goals
for product segments, implementation and execution of these plans to achieve
Sales targets in India managing the Ritmo Sales Team.
• Evaluate competition and market environment to position products and
determine sales and marketing approach, select and manage sales channel
partners ; support channels with necessary information, training and marketing
material and instruments
• Provide value-added, application-oriented solutions to targeted market
participants; establish and prepare quotes and follow-up throughout the entire
process to assure obtaining and fulfilling the order
• “Hands-on” key account management, performing an active role as it pertains
to technical and commercial issues; establish, manage, and expand Key
Account environment
• Lead, motivate and inspire sales employees and work closely with inside sales
and other members of the organization; expand skill levels in order to meet
future needs
• Develop proposals, coordinate with design engineering and operations and
write proposals as well as take a leadership position during negotiation
• Monitor and evaluate sales performance and opportunities and improve product
line profitability.
• Maintain good communication within the organization with respect to market,
commercial and technology aspects.
• Report on mission critical issues and problems. Closely monitor and anticipate
industry and market trends to influence technology and product development
• Represent the company in exhibitions and shows, build visibility by publication
and performing presentations and speeches
• Provide sales support by resolving customer or territory conflicts, support
organized training schedules, gather and disseminate application library and
other relevant information, and measure territory dynamics and effectiveness
• Reports to the General Manager of Durel Technologies, INDIA
Professional Experience:
• Approximately 10-12 years sales and marketing experience of this minimum 5-
7 years of Industrial Sales management experience within relevant technology
/ industry’s B2B with a solid track record.
• High technical aptitude as it pertains to understanding the different products,
applications and solutions.
• Proven background conducting competitive environment and market analysis
as basis for strategic decision making processes
• Ability to lead technical discussions for custom and application-oriented
solutions, with credibility and recognition in the field
• Solid background in implementing direct and indirect sales and marketing
strategies, as well as monitoring sales and prospecting activities using the SAP
ERP system that we follow.
• Experience in selecting and managing sales channels and providing leadership
to direct sales force and indirect sales channels
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to plan and execute sales
and business development strategies efficiently and productively

Personal Data:
• Education: BE, MBA would be an added advantage.
• Work Status: Should have lead a team of Sales Engineers
• Language(s): Hindi and English mandatory, other Indian languages will
be an advantage
• Relocation: yes (Position is based in Chennai)
