Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Job Summary

Company is a leading Kolkata-based manufacturer of transmission & distribution hardware and fencing/construction products, is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations.
We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to oversee inventory, procurement, and warehouse operations for our MS steel hardware manufacturing focused on power transmission components. You will ensure efficient stock management, vendor coordination, and cost-effective supply chain processes to support production needs.

Key Responsibilities
 Manage daily store operations, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing raw materials (e.g., MS steel, fittings) and finished goods using ERP systems like Odoo or Tally.
 Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations to minimize discrepancies, prevent stockouts, and optimize storage for heavy hardware items.
 Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams to forecast needs, track material usage, and handle vendor deliveries for timely supply.
 Implement inventory control measures, FIFO methods, and safety protocols for handling steel products, including hazardous materials like galvanized items.
 Generate reports on stock levels, consumption trends, and cost savings; analyze data in Excel to support budgeting and efficiency improvements.
 Supervise store staff, maintain records for audits, and ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications
 Diploma or Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
 Minimum 5 years of experience in store/warehouse management, preferably in manufacturing, steel fabrication, or hardware sectors.
 Proficiency in inventory software (Odoo, Tally), MS Excel for reporting, and material handling equipment operation.
 Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory valuation (FIFO/LIFO), and standards like ISO for stores.
 Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
 Good communication for vendor negotiations and team management.
