Job Description:

Position Title:  HEAD OF PURCHASE
Job Grade   HOD
Job Location   HEAD OFFICE
Function/Department   SCM
Reporting to    CEO
Educational Qualification  : GRADUATION, PG IN MBA
 Experience    15 TO 20 YEARS

Purpose of the Position (Job Summary) 
The position is responsible for developing strategies in purchase, manage suppliers, negotiation, timely procurement of goods & machine parts at all locations & over all handling of department along with his team.

Core: - Strategic planning & implementation, Supplier management, procurement, costing, team leadership.

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the companys overall objectives.
2.  Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
3.  Rate standardisation.
4.  Maintain the quality of all the product & check with QC as per SOP.
5.  Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery.
6.  Add new suppliers for purchase of stock at cost approved by management.
7.  Check vendor payment on time.
8. Various report as required by Management. Supervise team.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

1.  Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within team or with another department also.
2. Update Team to visit & identify new product & technology.
3. Develop & train team to enhance their skills & knowledge.
4.  Identify new market of purchase of good at approved cost.
5. Identify the area of improvement
6. Provide Training to increase knowledge & skills.
7. Provide guidance & support to team.

DECISION – MAKING 
1. Monitor & track good as well payment.
2. Availability of goods & material

KEY SKILLS REQUIRE

4.   Negotiation with international supplier for raw material as per requirement.
