Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Head of Manufacturing in RUH, you will be responsible to take full ownership of manufacturing — from ordering fabric to finished suits going out. You need to ensure that  orders are produced on time, Quality is consistent, Wastage and rework are controlled, Karigars and vendors work in a disciplined, organised  and timely manner such that the TAT of producing the salwar suits is minimum. End-to-end production of salwar suits: from ordering fabric to the final garment being manufactured with approvals at all stages

  1. Implementing and maintaining tracking mechanism
  2. Ordering fabric and tracking its timely receipt from all vendors
  3. Allocation of work to dyers, handwork, embroidery and stitching kaariagrs
  4. Accessories and jugaar required to be procured and allocated to kaarigars timely
  5. Production planning as per orders and timelines
  6. Managing karigars, suppliers and manufacturing team
  7. Coordinating with job workers and vendors
  8. Quality control at every stage
  9. Reducing wastage, rework, and delays
  10. Ensuring dispatch readiness as per committed dates
  11. Daily reporting to the owner on production status
  12. Check daily production targets vs actual output
  13. Walk the floor and supervise work
  14. Identify quality issues and correct them immediately
  15. Handle karigar issues (attendance, productivity, discipline, jugaar to be given)
  16. Resolve on-ground problems (machine, labour, delay)
  17. Reduce defects and get alterations done to avoid wastage
  18. Update owner on risks, delays, or bottlenecks

 

 

Qualifications & Competencies

·         Strong understanding of salwar suit construction

·         Knowledge of fabrics, cutting ratios, sizing, and fit

·         Experience managing kaarigars

·         Ability to plan production practically (not on paper)

·         Basic record keeping (registers / Excel / sheets)

·         Problem-solving mindset

·         Calm under pressure

·         8–10 years experience in ethnic wear manufacturing

Salary and Remuneration

·         Will be commensurate with Experience and Competency
