Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Purchase to lead end-to-end procurement operations for our textile manufacturing setup. This role offers high ownership, strong exposure to senior management, and the opportunity to build scalable procurement systems in a growing organization.
Reporting to: VP – Commercial
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of textile spares, consumables, dyes & chemicals, packing materials, and indirect materials
- Handle the complete purchase cycle from requisition to delivery
- Drive cost optimization and savings initiatives through negotiation and alternate sourcing
- Lead and manage a purchase team of 5+ members
- Develop and manage vendors, including negotiations and reconciliations
- Coordinate closely with Stores, Production, Maintenance, and Accounts
- Ensure strict adherence to ERP-based procurement processes
- Prepare procurement MIS on consumption, savings, and vendor performance
Candidate Profile
- Graduate (MBA / PG in Materials / Supply Chain preferred)
- 10–15 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement
- Mandatory experience in textile manufacturing
- Strong capabilities in vendor negotiation, team handling, cost control, and ERP systems
