Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer with experience in Iron Casting, Foundry, or Engineering Components sales. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and driving revenue growth for cast iron and ductile iron casting products across industrial sectors such as automotive, agriculture, railways, pumps, valves, construction equipment, and general engineering. Knowledge of foundry processes and casting applications is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new customers for Cast Iron (CI), SG Iron, and machined casting components.
  • Generate inquiries, RFQs, and business opportunities from OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and industrial clients.
  • Prepare techno-commercial offers and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Understand customer drawings, specifications, and casting requirements.
  • Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Follow up on quotations and convert leads into orders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and customer visit reports.
  • Support payment collection and resolve customer complaints effectively.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Iron Casting, Foundry Processes, Machining, and Metallurgy.
  • Understanding of CI, SG Iron, Sand Casting, and Casting Defects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and customer specifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
