Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Strategic Logistics Head to lead outbound road logistics
operations for our TMT retail business. This leadership role is pivotal in driving strategic
planning, cost optimization, vendor development, and digital transformation across our logistics
ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
o Develop and implement short term and long-term logistics strategies aligned
with business goals.
o Forecast demand and align logistics capacity to support retail expansion.
- Outbound Road Logistics Management:
o Oversee end-to-end outbound logistics operations across regional and national
routes.
o Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to retail outlets and customers.
- Cost Optimization & Efficiency:
o Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across logistics functions.
o Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in delivery performance and
cost metrics.
- Vendor Development & Management:
o Evaluate, onboard, and manage logistics partners and transport vendors.
o Negotiate contracts and ensure service-level compliance.
- Automation & Digitalization:
o Lead initiatives to automate logistics workflows and integrate digital tools.
o Collaborate with IT and operations teams to deploy logistics tech solutions (e.g.,
TMS, GPS tracking, analytics dashboards).
