Manager – Accounts, Finance, Taxation & Compliance

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager-level Accounting & Finance professional to lead end-to-end financial operations, taxation, statutory compliance, and reporting. This role requires strong hands-on expertise along with ownership of processes, controls, and coordination with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing all accounting, tax, and compliance functions with minimal supervision. Exposure to real estate finance will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Accounting & Financial Management

• Oversee complete books of accounts including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, general ledger, trial balance, invoicing, and provisioning.

• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closures.

• Prepare and review Balance Sheet, P&L, cash flow statements, and MIS reports for management.

• Establish and monitor internal controls, accounting processes, and compliance checklists.

GST Management

• End-to-end responsibility for GST compliance, including preparation, review, and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and other applicable returns.

• Monitor and resolve vendor mismatches, input tax credit issues, and notices.

• Coordinate with consultants and ensure audit-ready GST documentation.

Income Tax & TDS

• Handle income tax computation, advance tax planning, and return filings.

• Manage TDS deduction, payment, quarterly returns, Form 26Q/24Q, and 26AS reconciliation.

• Respond to income tax notices and coordinate with tax advisors as required.

Statutory, Companies Act & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure full compliance under the Companies Act, including MCA filings, statutory registers, and board-related documentation in coordination with CS/legal teams.

• Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits, acting as the primary point of contact.

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory timelines and maintenance of compliance records.

Real Estate Accounting (Preferred)

• Manage project-wise accounting, land and development rights, construction costs, customer advances, and revenue recognition.

• Monitor cost allocation, project profitability, and compliance specific to real estate transactions.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a single-point owner for finance, accounting, and compliance functions.

• Guide junior accountants or executives (if any) and review their work.

• Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, and internal management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter (CA / CMA preferred for Manager level).

• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.

• Strong expertise in Tally/ERP systems, advanced Excel, MIS, and reconciliations.

• In-depth working knowledge of GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, audits, and compliance frameworks.

• Ability to independently manage finance operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Real estate industry experience will be a strong advantage.
