HR Manager (Consultancy)
Job Description:
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR functions for our consultancy organization. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in HR operations, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance, with the ability to support a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Lead end-to-end recruitment for consulting, technical, support, and leadership roles.

Build talent pipelines and manage coordination with hiring managers.

Develop sourcing strategies, recruitment dashboards, and vendor management.
2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

Manage onboarding, induction, documentation, and HRMS processes.

Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and employee records.

Ensure smooth offboarding, exit formalities, and retention initiatives.
3. Performance Management
-
Implement effective KRA/KPI-based appraisal systems tailored for consulting roles.

Conduct performance reviews, identify high performers, and support capability building.

Partner with leadership on workforce optimization and career development plans.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture Development

Run engagement activities, R&R programs, and employee satisfaction initiatives.

Build a positive and collaborative work culture aligned with consultancy values.

Handle grievance management and serve as a trusted HR business partner.
5. Learning & Development

Identify training needs for consultants, analysts, and support teams.

Organize skill-based, behavioural, and leadership training programs.

Track training effectiveness and drive continuous learning.
6. HR Policies & Strategic Support

Create, review, and update HR policies and SOPs in line with industry standards.

Support senior management in organizational planning and HR strategy.

Drive HR analytics, data reporting, and dashboards for decision-making.
7. Compliance & Statutory Management

Ensure compliance with labour laws, PF, ESIC, PT, Shops & Establishment, etc.

Maintain audit readiness and handle statutory documentation and filings.

Ensure adherence to HR governance and industry best practices.

Strong knowledge of consultancy workforce dynamics and role structures.

Strong command over HR operations, labour laws, and HRMS systems.

Problem-solving ability with a proactive and strategic mindset.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-driven environment.
Qualifications
-
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in HR, preferably in consultancy or professional services firms.
