Assistant Manager – Finance (Corporate)
Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Manager – Finance (Corporate) to support the financial strategy, planning, compliance, and corporate-level financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in corporate finance, FP&A, cash flow management, risk control, and financial reporting, with the ability to lead finance teams and collaborate across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Develop and implement financial models, forecasts, and annual budgets to support strategic decision-making.

Conduct detailed financial analysis to monitor performance and share insights with senior management.
2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
-
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

Assist in internal, external, and tax audits by providing proper documentation.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and ensure funds availability for operations.

Oversee banking relationships, fund transfers, and treasury operations including monitoring interest rates and credit lines.
4. Corporate Finance & Financial Strategy

Support long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and financial restructuring initiatives.

Develop policies that enhance financial governance and cost optimization.
5. Risk Management & Internal Controls

Identify market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks, and implement mitigation controls.

Strengthen internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
6. Accounting & Operations Oversight

Oversee AP, AR, payroll, vendor payments, reconciliations, and general ledger functions.

Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and adherence to internal accounting policies.

Review and approve expense reports, vendor agreements, and payment schedules.
7. Team Leadership & Coordination

Mentor and guide finance team members across corporate and unit-level finance functions.

Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and financial discipline.
8. Process Improvement

Identify automation and process enhancement opportunities to increase department efficiency.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Calcutta University.

7+ years of experience in corporate finance, hospitality finance, or accounting.

Strong understanding of FP&A, treasury, tax management, compliance, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in financial software, MS Excel, and modelling tools.

Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
