Job Description:
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations, performance, and growth of multiple café outlets across the city. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of all cafés, maintain high service standards, drive revenue, manage staff, and uphold brand quality.
You will act as the central point of coordination between outlet teams and senior management, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and consistent business performance.
Key Responsibilities
A. Multi-Outlet Operations Management

Supervise daily operations of all café outlets to ensure efficiency and consistency.

Conduct regular outlet visits to monitor performance, cleanliness, food quality, and adherence to SOPs.

Ensure all outlets comply with company standards on hygiene, safety, licensing, and maintenance.

Implement operational improvements to enhance service quality and reduce costs.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of raw materials.

Plan and execute new outlet launches (if applicable).
B. Team & Staff Management

Lead, guide, and supervise café managers and staff across all outlets.

Ensure proper staffing levels through recruitment, training, and manpower planning.

Conduct performance evaluations and identify areas for improvement.

Facilitate training sessions on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.

Resolve staff conflicts and ensure positive, motivated work culture.
C. Customer Service Excellence

Maintain high service standards and ensure exceptional customer experience at all outlets.

Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.

Gather customer feedback and implement improvements.
D. Sales, Revenue & Inventory Control

Monitor daily sales, revenue reports, and outlet performance metrics.

Work with café managers to achieve monthly sales targets.

Ensure proper inventory planning, stock rotation, and fraud prevention.

Track wastage, analyze consumption patterns, and optimize cost control.

Implement promotional activities to boost footfall and revenue.
E. Café Manager–Specific Responsibilities (Included for clarity)

Manage day-to-day café operations such as opening/closing, cash handling, billing, and staff allocation.

Ensure timely preparation and serving of food and beverages as per standard recipes.

Maintain café equipment and coordinate timely repairs or service.
-
Check food presentation, portioning, and taste consistency.
-
Oversee cleanliness, ambiance, and guest service quality.

Handle daily cash reconciliation and reporting.
F. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for management.

Align with finance, marketing, HR, and logistics teams to support café requirements.
-
Track KPIs like footfall, customer ratings, staff efficiency, cost percentage, and product performance.
Qualifications & Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.

4–8 years of experience in F&B operations, preferably multi-outlet café or restaurant management.

Strong leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
-
Good understanding of P&L, cost control, inventory management, and customer service.

Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety & hygiene (FSSAI guidelines preferred).
