Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Quantity Surveying:

  • Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analysis for civil, structural, and finishing works.

  • Verify contractor bills and ensure compliance with contract terms and actual work done.

  • Track and control project costs to avoid overruns.

  • Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow statements, and material consumption reports.

  • Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract documentation.

  • Identify and evaluate variations, claims, and change orders.

  • Coordinate with project teams for site measurement verification and material reconciliation.

Planning:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.

  • Monitor progress vs. plan and highlight delays with corrective action proposals.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.

  • Coordinate with site engineers and procurement teams for resource planning and sequencing.

  • Support the Project Manager in timeline forecasting and project risk analysis.

  • Ensure proper integration of cost and schedule for effective project control.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, rate analysis, and cost control.

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.

  • Familiarity with CPM scheduling, earned value management, and construction methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional project team.
