Job Description:

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our Backoffice Operations team in the Broking Industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in capital market operations, especially with hands-on experience in Pay-in, Payout, Pledge, Re-pledge, and working knowledge of CDSL systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pay-in and Payout Operations:
    Ensure accurate and timely execution of securities and funds pay-in/pay-out as per exchange deadlines.

  • Pledge & Re-Pledge Operations:
    Handle pledge and re-pledge activities for clients in compliance with SEBI and depository regulations.

  • CDSL System Handling (Live Environment):
    Operate and troubleshoot in the CDSL live system for depository-related activities.

  • Client Demat Transactions:
    Process and verify Demat and Remat requests, off-market transfers, and inter-depository transfers.

  • Reconciliations & Reporting:
    Daily reconciliation of client securities and fund balances, and preparation of regulatory reports.

  • Compliance & Documentation:
    Ensure all operational activities are in line with SEBI/Exchange/Depository guidelines. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance checks.

  • Coordination:
    Liaise with internal departments (Risk, Compliance, Tech) and external parties (Depositories, Exchanges, Clearing Corporations) to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.


Key Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in back-office operations in a stock broking or capital markets firm.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Pay-in / Payout process

    • Pledge & Re-pledge mechanism

    • CDSL system (live operations)

    • NSDL knowledge is an added advantage

  • Familiarity with SEBI regulations related to back-office operations.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and back-office software.

  • Attention to detail, good analytical and communication skills.
