Position: General Manager – Domestic Sales & Marketing (OSD)
Location: Mumbai (Relocation option available)
About the Company
The company is apart of group pharma company which is entering the domestic pharmaceutical market with its OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) formulations portfolio including tablets, capsules, ointments, and syrups. The company is now seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead its Domestic Sales & Marketing function from ground zero and establish a strong footprint across India.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead the creation of the Domestic Sales & Marketing department for OSD business.
Develop & execute strategies to establish the company’s OSD products in the Indian pharma market.
Identify key markets, distribution networks, and business opportunities.
Initially manage sales operations independently, and gradually build a Pan-India sales team.
Drive revenue growth, brand positioning, and market penetration.
Work closely with senior management for strategic alignment and reporting.
Candidate Profile
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Management (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 15+ years in Pharma OSD Sales & Marketing with proven exposure in domestic market development.
Strong understanding of pharma distribution channels, market dynamics, and competition landscape.
Demonstrated ability to set up new business divisions and scale operations.
Mid-age professional with pleasing personality, leadership skills, and confidence.
Preferably Mumbai-based, but open to outstation candidates ready to relocate.
