Job Description:

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead the accounting and
finance functions for our Way Side Amenities Project. The incumbent will act as the Accounts Head
for the project, ensuring financial discipline, statutory compliance, efficient fund management, and
accurate reporting. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise in accounting and
taxation along with leadership skills to guide the finance team and support project execution.

Key Responsibilities


Financial & Compliance Management


 Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, ROC, PF/ESI, Income
Tax, and other regulatory frameworks.
 Keep abreast of amendments in tax and company laws and ensure timely implementation.
 Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for contracts, vendor agreements, and project
documentation.


Banking & Fund Management


 Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions for loans, guarantees, overdrafts,
and other facilities.
 Oversee fund flow management, working capital requirements, and treasury operations.
 Approve and monitor payments, reconciliations, and cash flow statements.


Project Accounting & Oversight


 Lead and supervise the accounting function of the Way Side Amenities Project, ensuring
accurate and timely recording of transactions.
 Track project costs, budgets, and financial performance against planned targets.
 Develop cost control mechanisms and highlight variances to management.
 Ensure all project-related bills, claims, and vendor payments are processed in line with
policies.


Audit & Reporting


 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for management review.
 Consolidate financial statements at project and company level.

 Act as primary liaison for statutory, internal, and tax audits; ensure timely closure of audit
observations.


Team Leadership & Coordination


 Supervise and mentor site accountants and finance staff across project locations.
 Standardize accounting practices and ensure adherence to company policies.
 Provide training to site-level finance teams for compliance and reporting accuracy.
 Coordinate between project teams, head office, and external stakeholders for smooth
financial operations.


Strategic & Administrative Support


 Assist senior management in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
for the project.
 Contribute to project feasibility studies, DPRs, and financial models.
 Support procurement and contracts team in financial vetting of vendors/contractors.
 Represent the finance function in project review meetings and client discussions.

 

Desired Candidate Profile
 Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–7 years of post-qualification experience
(preferably in infrastructure, highways, construction, or project-based industries).
 Proven ability to manage end-to-end accounting and finance for large-scale projects.
 Strong expertise in compliance, taxation, and statutory requirements.
 Hands-on experience in project accounting, budgeting, and cost control.
 Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP), MS Excel, and reporting tools.
 Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
 Ability to handle pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
