Job Description:

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst to join our Valuation team. The role offers hands-on experience in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and strategic decision support across industries. You will work closely with Managers and Partners to support valuation assignments for M&A, financial reporting (including PPA, ESOPs, and impairment testing), fundraising, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing valuation models using methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and net asset value
• Contribute to valuation assignments for Purchase Price Allocation (PPA), Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOPs), and goodwill impairment testing under Ind AS/IFRS
• Support in preparing valuation reports, presentations, and memos for internal and client use
• Conduct sector and company research including financial statement analysis and benchmarking
• Assist in reviewing business plans, financial forecasts, and KPIs for reasonableness
• Maintain and update valuation databases, market multiples, and industry benchmarks
• Coordinate with audit, tax, and legal teams on deliverables related to valuations for compliance, financial reporting, or transactions
• Ensure timely delivery of tasks with a high standard of accuracy and documentation

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field
• (Preferred) Pursuing/completed CFA (Level II/III), CA , or MBA (Finance)
• Strong fundamentals in corporate finance and accounting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to financial modeling is a plus
• Familiarity with valuation standards under Ind AS 103, Ind AS 36, and Ind AS 102 is a strong plus
• Exposure to databases like Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or Refinitiv is advantageous
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
