Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Lawyer with strong expertise in criminal law, regulatory
issues, and corporate board-level disputes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling legal
cases involving internal/external criminal allegations, managing litigation arising from boardroom
clashes or shareholder issues, and providing sound legal counsel to the leadership team during legal
escalations or high-stake conflicts.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent the company in criminal legal matters, including police complaints, FIRs,
economic offences, and fraud investigations.
Handle boardroom disputes, including directorial conflicts, minority shareholder issues, and
whistleblower complaints.
Draft and vet criminal complaints, replies to legal notices, affidavits, and legal strategies in
coordination with external legal counsel.
Liaise with investigation agencies (Police, EOW, SFIO, ED, etc.) and attend proceedings as
company representative or internal advisor.
Work closely with external lawyers, manage criminal litigations, and ensure alignment with
company strategy.
Provide advisory to the Board and CXOs on legal implications of decisions under dispute or
threat.
Coordinate legal preparedness in case of raids, arrests, or coercive legal actions against
company officials.
Maintain high confidentiality in handling sensitive internal legal disputes or power tussles.
Prepare briefings for senior management on legal risks, criminal exposure, and compliance
steps to mitigate legal escalation.
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, IPC, CrPC, and relevant regulatory requirements.
