Job Description:
Engineer/AM/Manager - Maintenance with an electronic engineering background from the printing and packaging industry will prefer (other industries candidates finalization will totally depend on interview. The role combines technical expertise with leadership and operational management. Below are the key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all electronic and mechanical systems within the printing and packaging machinery.
- Plan preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and improve efficiency.

Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, providing guidance and support.
- Assign tasks, ensure team development through training, and foster a culture of safety and reliability.

Troubleshooting and Repair:
- Oversee the diagnosis and repair of electronic control systems, automation equipment, and electrical components in printing and packaging machines.
- Address equipment malfunctions and breakdowns promptly to minimize production delays.

Equipment Optimization:
- Ensure optimal performance of electronic systems such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), sensors, drives, and other automated controls.
- Continuously evaluate equipment performance and suggest improvements or upgrades to enhance production efficiency.

Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and environmental laws.
- Regularly review safety procedures and conduct inspections to prevent workplace accidents.

Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance and repairs.
- Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of essential parts and components.

Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Prepare and manage the maintenance department's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
- Monitor expenses related to maintenance activities and strive to reduce maintenance costs.

Collaboration with Production:
- Work closely with the production team to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with production schedules.
- Provide technical expertise during equipment installation, upgrades, and process improvements.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment downtime.
- Prepare regular maintenance reports for management, outlining the performance of machinery and key issues.

Continuous Improvement:
- Lead efforts to implement best practices in maintenance management, focusing on reducing machine downtime and extending the life of equipment.
- Stay updated with new technologies in electronics, automation, and printing/packaging machinery.
This role is critical in ensuring that the machinery in the printing and packaging industry runs efficiently with minimal disruption to production.
