Accounts Executive

Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant who has strong knowledge of TDS, GST compliance, and hands-on experience in Tally. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

• Handle purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries

• Maintain ledgers and ensure proper documentation of transactions

• Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports

2. GST Compliance

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

• Perform GST reconciliation (GSTR-2A/2B vs books)

• Ensure proper input tax credit (ITC) claims

• Handle GST notices and departmental queries if any

3. TDS Compliance

• Deduct and deposit TDS as per applicable sections

• File quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.)

• Prepare Form 16 & 16A

• Reconcile TDS with Form 26AS

• Maintain proper documentation for TDS compliance

4. Bank & Vendor Reconciliation

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations

• Vendor & customer account reconciliation

• Follow up for outstanding payments and receivables

5. Audit & Documentation

• Assist in internal and statutory audits

• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GST & TDS rules

• Hands-on experience in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

• Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)

• Basic knowledge of Income Tax provisions

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy
