The Sales Coordinator acts as the communication link between customers, the sales team, and internal departments. They handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations, follow up on orders, and assist in smooth execution of the sales process. This role ensures timely coordination of sales operations, especially in fast-moving, order-driven environments like poles and steel structures.

📌 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Sales Support & Coordination

• Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, technical offers, and product datasheets.

• Maintain records of customer inquiries, quotations, and orders.

• Coordinate with design, production, dispatch, and accounts teams to track and update order status.

🔹 Customer Communication

• Handle client queries via email and phone regarding product availability, delivery timelines, and order updates.

• Ensure timely sharing of technical drawings and order confirmations with clients.

🔹 Order Management

• Track sales orders from generation to dispatch and invoicing.

• Monitor stock status and production schedules to align with sales commitments.

• Maintain dispatch and delivery records for internal and customer reporting.

🔹 Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain and update customer databases, price lists, and quotation registers.

• Generate daily/weekly/monthly sales reports for management.

• Assist with tender documentation and submission as required.

🔹 CRM & ERP Usage

• Enter and manage leads, follow-ups, and order details in CRM/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Zoho, Tally).

• Ensure all records are accurate, timely, and audit-ready.
