Job Description:

Production engineer for PEB 

1. Production Planning & Control:

   • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on project timelines.

   • Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently.

2. Manufacturing Process Oversight:

   • Supervise cutting, welding, drilling, bending, surface treatment, and assembly processes.

   • Monitor fabrication of pole sections (tapered or cylindrical, etc.) as per design specs.

3. Quality Control:

   • Ensure all products meet relevant standards (e.g., IS, ASTM).

   • Conduct inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) for welds and structural integrity.

4. Material Management:

   • Ensure proper inventory control for raw materials (plates, bolts, zinc, etc.).

   • Coordinate with the procurement team to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

5. Process Improvement & Cost Optimization:

   • Implement lean manufacturing and 5S principles.

   • Reduce production cycle time and minimize waste.

6. Safety and Compliance:

   • Ensure workplace safety compliance with standards like OSHA.

   • Conduct tool-box talks and safety audits regularly.

7. Coordination & Reporting:

   • Liaise with design, procurement, and site execution teams.

   • Generate daily/weekly production reports for management.
