Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, driving sales, and providing excellent service to ensure a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a good understanding of the products, and a commitment to meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and identify their needs to provide assistance and information on products.

  • Recommend suitable products and promote sales to meet or exceed individual and store targets.

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of product features, pricing, and promotions.

  • Process sales transactions accurately through the POS system.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor or display area.

  • Handle customer questions, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.

  • Follow up with potential leads and existing customers to boost sales.

  • Collaborate with team members and report sales trends to supervisors.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus).

  • Previous experience in retail or direct sales preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Customer-oriented mindset and ability to build relationships.

  • Basic math and computer skills (e.g., POS systems, inventory software).

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the specific product category (e.g., electronics, fashion, automobiles).

  • Ability to upsell and cross-sell products.

  • Confidence and enthusiasm in a fast-paced sales environment.
