Position Title: Sales Executive

Reports To: Sales Manager
Job Purpose:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling products in the Tiles, Sanitaryware, CP Fittings, and Adhesives industry. This role includes managing customer relationships, meeting sales targets, and ensuring client satisfaction. The candidate must have a bike, as the job will involve traveling within the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Actively prospect and generate new leads for Tiles, Sanitaryware, CP Fittings, and Adhesives products.
- Visit potential clients, including construction companies, retailers, and individual customers, to present products and close sales.
- Develop and maintain a customer pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Conduct product demonstrations and site visits to ensure customers understand the full scope and benefits of the products.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat business.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Market Knowledge and Competitor Awareness:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the Tiles, Sanitaryware, CP Fittings, and Adhesives industries.
- Monitor competitor products and pricing strategies to ensure competitive advantage.
- Provide input on product offerings, pricing, and market positioning based on customer and competitor insights.
- Sales Reporting and Administration:
- Record sales activities, customer information, and follow-up actions using CRM tools.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager, including feedback on market conditions and customer needs.
- Assist in the preparation of quotations and follow up with clients to close sales.
- Conveyance:
- Use personal vehicle (bike) for local travel to meet customers, deliver products, and attend site visits.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred).
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, building materials, or related industries (Tiles, Sanitaryware, etc.).
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated with a drive for meeting sales targets.
- Proficient in using CRM tools and basic office software.
- Ability to travel locally, with a bike being mandatory for site visits and customer meetings.
- Required:
- Personal bike (mandatory).
- A valid driver's license.
Compensation Package:
- Base Salary: ₹12,000 per month.
- Max Salary: As per the candidate experience and target achievable.
- Incentives: Performance-based incentives based on monthly sales targets.
- Conveyance Allowance: Fixed monthly conveyance allowance to cover fuel.
Working Conditions:
- Location: [Howrah, hoogly, north 24, south 24,medhnipur, murshidabad, digha,arambag, with travel to local sites].
- Hours: Full-time position, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Flexible hours may be required based on customer schedules.
- Travel: Frequent local travel within the assigned region.
- Required Equipment: Personal bike for daily use in the job role.
Performance Metrics:
- Achievement of sales targets (monthly and quarterly).
- Number of new clients acquired.
- Client retention rate and satisfaction levels.
- Timely reporting of sales activities and progress.
