Project Manager / Product Development Lead

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

•    Product Costing: Responsible for estimating product costs by considering all factors like Manpower, Machine, Material, and Processes for new projects.

•    Customer Communication: Maintain regular communication with both existing and new customers to ensure a smooth flow of information and timely delivery of new products.

•    Project Timeline Estimation: Collaborate with the Business Development (BD) team to prepare a detailed timeline for new project implementation and ensure alignment with business goals.

•    Product-Specific Input Sheets: Create and provide product-specific input sheets that outline product specifications, for customer understanding and approval.

•    New Product Implementation: Develop and implement processes for new products by working closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth product development cycles.

•    Manufacturing Deadlines: Ensure timely delivery by meeting critical manufacturing milestones, such as Engineering Pilot and Final Engineering Pilot.

•    Vendor Development: Identify and develop new vendors to meet specific requirements for processes or products.

•    Product Development Status Updates: Provide regular updates on product development activities, including any progress, potential delays, or challenges faced during development.

Qualifications:

•    Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Polymer Engineering from a reputed institution.

•    Experience:

o    Minimum 8-12 years of overall professional experience.

o    3-4 years of relevant experience in Project Management or Product Development.  Experience in Plastic Injection Molding, Toy Manufacturing, Plastic material Manufacturing industries will be preferred

Skills:

o    Strong project management, cost estimation, and vendor management skills.

o    Excellent communication and leadership skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

O    Ability to manage timelines and deadlines in complex project environments.
